I had two checks stolen from the mail and were forged to pay "John's rent." I immediately went to Chase to close my account and apparently it was the employee's last day so she never officially followed through in closing the account. Now corporate is saying they are unable to reimburse the charges because I didn't close the account. Luckily the branch manager is still fighting for me, but it has been a hassle.

I spotted some peculiar transactions while checking my accounts online. I immediately called the bank and they issued me a new card. Come to find out, I got a notification much later telling me that my card information had been compromised through a data breach. The recovery process was fairly easy for me but how scary!

I had my wallet stolen 2 years ago and before I even knew it was gone the fraudster had managed to max out each of my credit cards. He get an opportunity to use my debit card because I called my bank and let them know what was going on. It took me weeks to get my accounts reconciled. what a nightmare...
